The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to procure information technology services on a full and open competitive basis. The information technology services under this requirement include: (1) General administrative requirements; (2) Database and Unix/Linux Administration Services; (3) Application Services; (4) Storage Area Network Services; (5) Backup Services; and (6) Infrastructure Engineering Services. This effort will be performance based. The services are currently being performed by Resource Consultants, Inc. (Vienna, VA), under delivery order number PBGC01-DO-06-0293. The period of performance will include a base year with four (4) one year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of PBGC. The solicitation is not currently available, but is estimated to be available on or about May 15, 2007. The solicitation document, including any amendments, will be distributed through the FedBizOpps.gov web site. The site contains downloading instructions. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
