The 38 Engineering Installation Group has a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services for 919 SOS/RS, Eglin AFB FL (OL AH 610TH Reserve Recruiting Flight). The proposed contract is for five years. The local exchange service provider certified by Florida PUC shall provide local commercial communications service for 919 SOS/RS, Eglin AFB FL (OL AH 610TH Reserve Recruiting Flight). Local communications service shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, local access for commercial business lines, analog subscriber lines, analog and digital trunks, foreign exchange access lines and trunks, transport channel services, directory number and number portability, emergency 9-1-1 service, operator and directory assistance, local and Intra-LATA access, and interconnection with Inter-LATA exchange carrier. Competition is open to domestic and foreign sources. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered. Sources responding to this synopsis must indicate, in writing, whether they are large, small, disadvantaged and/or a women-owned businesses. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under NAIC 5171 with size standard of 1500 employees. In order to be eligible for award of this Request for Proposal (RFP), offerors may be required to have a Basic Agreement with this office.
