In accordance with FAR subpart 13.106(b) the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to “A” System Communications Company (ASCC) in the amount of $66,484.00. The order will be for internet connectivity to the Cameroon CDC Collaboration Office and other remote field sites while providing the needed bandwidth into a single logical network at a US based Teleport. Work is to be performed in the Cameroon CDC Collaboration office in Douala Cameroon and area field sites. CDC believes that ASCC is the only organization that can provide internet connectivity via an indirect hardware platform to meet all the program requirements including cost, and time constraints as well as provide complementary equipment, software, communication protocols, and centralized technical support for other sites in the region. Interested parties who feel that that they possess the capabilities to perform the services described above, should provide a capabilities statement demonstrating their qualifications, experience, equipment and ability to perform the requirements. This must be a single vendor effort to obtain centralized technical support services and compatible equipment, software, and communication protocols. The information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
