The United States Air Force intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Charter Cablevision to provide cable television to Whiteman AFB, Missouri. Cable services are expected to begin 01 October 2004. Award will be made in the form of a purchase order for a period of Twelve (12) months (01 October 2004-30 September 2005). The only known source for this requirement is Charter Cablevision. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will consider all responses received by 10 September 2004. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be conducted solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This procurement is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures.
