Cyanide Distillation System Specification
Functional Requirements:
a) Ability to distill water, wastewater and soil samples for cyanide analysis
b) Accuracy and precision
c) High throughput of the samples (up to 60 samples per day)
d) Required reagent volume < 10 ml/sample setup
e) Required sample volume < 10 ml/sample
f) Ability to operate without vacuum and chilling systems
g) Ability to operate outside a fume hood
Interface Requirements:
Unit must use sample containers that meet requirements for analysis on existing laboratory analytical instrumentation (Lachat QuickChem Flow Injection Analysis system)
Service and Support Requirements:
One year full warranty
Acceptance Schedule:
The Government will accept within 30 days of delivery and upon successful completion of and Initial Demonstration of Capability (IDC).
