The Gifford Pinchot National Forest intends to acquire by contract the removing of composition roof shingles and the installation of a standing seam, concealed fastener 24 gauge steel roof over an approximately 11964 square foot structure. Contractor is to ensure new roof is in compliance with applicable codes and regulations. Contractor shall provide any and all labor, equipment, vehicles, services, permits, and licenses to successfully complete the work. The Contractor shall also assume all risk, loss, damage or expense arising out of the prosecution of the work, except as otherwise stated in the contract.

This acquisition is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The applicable NAICS code is 236210 - Industrial Building Construction. The corresponding size standard is $36.5 million. Offerors will be evaluated on technical capability (experience, performance schedule, etc.), past performance, biopreferred items and price. The Contract will be awarded to the offeror whose submittal, in compliance with the solicitation, is the best value to the Government. The Government total estimated value is between $100,000 and $250,000.

All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the Government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the SAM Database will render an offeror ineligible for award. SAM replaced the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database.
