The Gifford Pinchot National Forest intends to acquire by contract roadway excavation and removal of an existing 72" x 48 " corrugated metal pipe, installation of a temporary bypass channel, install of a 19' span x 6' -4" rise bottomless arch culvert with concrete footings and stream simulation rock and roadway embankment construction. Contractor shall provide any and all labor, equipment, vehicles, services, permits, and licenses to successfully complete the work. The Contractor shall also assume all risk, loss, damage or expense arising out of the prosecution of the work, except as otherwise stated in the contract.

This acquisition is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The applicable NAICS code is 237310 - Highway, Street and Bridge Construction. The corresponding size standard is $36.5 million. Offerors will be evaluated on technical capability (experience, performance schedule, etc.), past performance, biopreferred items and price. The Contract will be awarded to the offeror whose submittal, in compliance with the solicitation, is the best value to the Government. The Government total estimated value is between $100,000 and $250,000.

All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the Government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the SAM Database will render an offeror ineligible for award. SAM replaced the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. A solicitation for this project will be posted to this website on or around June 15, 2017 with offers due around July 14, 2017.
