CUSTODIAL SERVICES FOR PETERSON AFB AND CHEYENNE MOUNTAIN AIR FORCE STATION

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for the 21st Contracting Squadron (21 CONS) at Peterson Air Force Base (PAFB) seeking the interest of potential and eligible contractors to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform custodial services at Peterson Air Force Base and Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station, Colorado. The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract as well as all local, state, and federal regulations.

This notice neither constitutes an Invitation for Bid/Request for Proposal (RFP), nor does it restrict the 21 CONS to an ultimate acquisition approach. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. NO PHONE CALLS WILL BE TAKEN IN RESPONSE TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT.

The NAICS for this requirement is expected to be 561720 with a $16.5M size standard. This is a Historically Underutilized Business-Zone set-aside SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. For this procurement it has been determined that competition will be nationwide for firms which have the above assigned NAICS code and are Historically Underutilized Business-Zone participants. All prospective offerors will be responsible for visiting the website at www.fbo.gov to obtain updated notices, solicitation documents, amendments or other information pertaining to this requirement.

An actual solicitation is expected to be issued sometime in the summer of 2014 with a start date at the beginning of April 2015. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The proposed performance period will be a base period of one (1) year plus four (4) one-year option periods.

Vendors are encouraged to complete/submit the posted vendor survey on this announcement. This survey is to determine the availability of commercial sources and services and standard industry practices pursuant to FAR Part 10. This survey is for informational purposes and the government will not reimburse contractors for any cost incurred for their participation in completing and submitting the posted survey. The industry responses to this survey may be used in the development of an acquisition strategy and future RFP.

All potential and eligible sources are asked to submit a capabilities package expressing their interest. The capability packages must be clear, concise, complete and limited to no more than two (2) pages max, including the cover page, and shall include at a minimum:

(1) Name and address of firm, size/ownership/business status (ie, 8(a))
(2) Point of contact name, number and email
(2) Indication of current SAM Registration & CAGE Code
(3) Capabilities statement (i.e., similar government and commercial contracts for custodial services, pertinent information, organizational structure, etc.)
