This project goal is to provide new median landscape and irrigation improvements along an approx. 1.7 mile segment of Custer Rd. (2478). The project begins north at Westridge Blvd. and extends south to Custer Trail. This segment will be a part of a larger 4 mile landscape project along Custer Rd. that will be funded by the City of Frisco. The proposed design concept looks to enhance the medians along Custer to provide a more pleasant pedestrian experience. The proposed landscape design includes native plantings consisting of new street trees, ornamental shrub beds, landscape edging, turf grass and drip irrigation system. This corridor currently exists on the eastern city boundary, thus serving as a primary entry into the City of Frisco.
