Project involves reconstruction/construction of portions of the 4.27 mile trail around Hyalite Reservoir. Work includes reconstruction of existing trail, construction of new routes, installation of culverts, drain dips, turnpiking, 50' Bridge installation, etc. The trail standard is 6'-wide aggregate surfacing with 12" unsurfaced shoulders.
The project is located south of Bozeman, MT in the Hyalite Canyon. Follow South 19th street south of Bozeman for approximately 8 miles to the Hyalite Canyon Road. Follow the road for 9 miles to the project area.
