This notice of intent is not a request for quotes and no solicitation is available. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL intends to award a sole source contract to Innerspaice Architectural Interiors 2830 6th Ave S, Birmingham, AL 35233-2802 for the purchase of Cubicles for the Barnes Center. The current cubicles in Bldg. 832 on Gunter Annex AL were purchased in 2007 using a product line from Haworth. Innerspaice is the only authorized reseller for the Haworth product line in the Montgomery area. Unigroup is the existing line of furniture from Haworth currently in place at the Barnes Center. There are 78 cubicles the Barnes Center is reconfiguring so they can add 26 additional cubicles for a total of 104 cubicles.. This is sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. If there are any other businesses that can provide the specified services, they must respond to this notice before 08/25/15 at 12:00pm (noon) Central Standard Time (CST). If no responses are received by the above referenced date/time a sole source contract will be awarded to Innerspaice Architectural Interiors. Contract award is subject to the availability of funds.
