Landscape + Irrigation o Relocate existing irrigation controller presently located outside the southeast side of the green house to a new pedestal within the planter outside of PHSC main entrance. Provide new 120V controller power from TBD source and reconnect all control cabling. o Remove irrigation water line presently serving the north side of building. o Retain irrigation water service and control wiring to existing planter near the southeast corner of PHSC. Maintain connectivity of irrigation to planters along the walkway between Ayers Hall and Bidwell Presbyterian Church. o Remove dead tree near the east corner of University’s property line. Domestic Water + Sewer o Maintain existing storm sewer and Dis along north elevation of PHSC. o Remove sanitary sewer serving the Head House and PHSC. Cut and cap where existing sanitary main intersects limits of hardscape demolition. o Remove force main along south side of PHSC and cap at existing sanitary manhole. o Provide new force main for electrical and steam vault sump pumps. Routing TBD; POC at existing sanitary manhole at southeast corner of PHSC. o Retain existing BFP serving PHSC and Ayres. Disconnect PSHC domestic service and cap at the discharge of the BFP. o Retain existing domestic water meter for combined Ayres/PHSC service. o Maintain existing Cal Water line. Gas o Remove existing regulators and gas line – cut and cap at intersection of gas line and hardscape demolition Electrical o Investigate existing underground infrastructure to determine potential pathway from Ayres Hall to re-feed existing light poles, vault sump pumps, and relocated irrigation controller. o Disconnect electrical service to PHSC, Head House, and Green House. Chilled Water + Steam o Cut and cap CHW and steam service to PHSC. o Intercept existing CHW lines and add new valve box near southeast corner of PHSC – connect to new CHW vault near current PHSC main entrance with new CHWS/R piping routed outside of the anticipated limits to Butte Hall replacement footprint. o Add new steam vault near northwest corner of Ayres Hall and connect to existing vault near bridge. Following connection of rerouted steam service, disconnect and remove steam piping serving PHSC to existing vault near bridge. o Replace approximately 50’ of original steam piping below fire lane along north elevation of Ayres Hall
