Notice of Request for Proposals and General Information The Board of Trustees of the Amarillo Independent School District (the “District,” “Owner” or “AISD”) is requesting competitive sealed Proposals for CONSTRUCTION SERVICES, pursuant to Texas Government Code, Chapter 2269, Subchapter D, for the 2021 Roofing Projects and Miscellaneous Related Work at Select Campuses – Caprock High School, Bowie 6 th Grade Campus, Travis 6 th Grade Campus, and Tradewind Elementary School, (CSP #4043). Competitive Sealed Proposals for the 2021 Roofing Projects and Miscellaneous Related Work at Select Campuses – Caprock High School, Bowie 6th School, Travis 6th Grade Campus, and Tradewind Elementary School, will be received until the Deadline of 4:00 P.M., Local Time, February 25, 2021. Proposals may be submitted electronically online to www.publicpurchase.com or three (3) hard copies of the Proposal may be mailed or hand delivered in an opaque envelope to the Amarillo ISD Purchasing Department, 7200 Interstate 40 West, Amarillo, TX 79106. All proposals must be identified as follows: “2021 Roofing Projects – Caprock HS, Bowie 6 th Grade, Travis 6 th Grade, and Tradewind ES, CSP#4043.” AISD prefers online submissions during the COVID-19 social distancing requirements, but if a vendor intends to submit a hard copy response, review the hard copy response procedure on AISD's online bid event at www.publicpurchase.com Failure to have a Proposal submitted by the above Deadline shall result in the proposal NOT being considered; fax or email submissions shall NOT be considered. Proposals shall be opened and read aloud upon the Deadline through an online video meeting. Details on how to access the meeting can be found on AISD's online bid event at www.publicpurchase.com. A pre-proposal conference will be held on February 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM local time at Caprock High School Auditorium, 3001 SE 34 th Ave., Amarillo, TX 79103. Any questions asked during the pre-proposal conference or site visit will not be official until submitted through www.publicpurchase.com and answered in writing by AISD. A Proposal guarantee in the form of a cashier’s check, certified check or bid bond, payable to Amarillo ISD, in the amount of 5% of the largest possible total for the Proposal amount submitted, must accompany each Proposal.
