The stage controller must be computer controllable. The footprint of the stage must take up less than one half of the cryostat cold plate area.

In the third direction (Z) the stage must have at least 2.5mm of travel with 50 nm scale resolution at cryogenic temperatures and supply at least 25 g of force. All wiring inside the cryostat, electrical feedthrough connections, and air-side cabling must be provided. An electronic controller capable of controlling all three axes must be provided. The stage controller must be computer controllable. The footprint of the stage must take up less than one half of the cryostat cold plate.
