Crucial Conversations Training Class.
GSA employees are under a great deal of pressure these days. Multiple high priority and high profile projects can cause discord among team members, emotional outbursts and a decrease in productivity.
As a result, GSA is looking to procure a Crucial Conversations training session that will help our employees communicate when stakes are high, opinions vary and emotions run strong. This course shall teach participants to utilize proven research based methods to achieve improved communication and customer service practices, maintain continuous positive interactions, develop skills to resolve disagreements, and to speak persuasively and foster teamwork.
This training will include:
•- Certified Crucial Conversations Master Trainer
•- Tools that allow employees to increase alignment, agreement and interpersonal
communication
•- Create conditions where people speak with candor and respect, regardless of the topic
•- Ability to lead spirited dialogue and reduce deference and defiance.
•- All training materials
This two day training will be in a U.S. Federal Building in Chicago, IL, February 22, 23, 2010. Pursuant to FAR 13.106(b)(1) due to the circumstances for this contract action only one contractor is reasonable available. GSA/PBS Great Lakes Region intends to purchase this training course from VitalSmarts, LLC, 282 River Bend Lane, Suite 100, Provo, UT 84604. Interested organizations may submit their qualifications to provide this class to the point of contact. Submissions shall be made electronically no later than Monday January 25, 2010 at 8:00am Central time to [email protected]. Qualifications will be evaluated to determine the possibility of competing this procurement. A decision to award this course on a competitive basis is solely within the discretion of the Government.
