CRESWELL SCHOOL DISTRICTCRESWELL HIGH SCHOOL SEISMIC RETROFIT Bids Due 2:00 pm, February 29, 2024 INVITATION TO BIDMcKenzie Commercial Contractors, Inc., acting as Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) for the Creswell School District, will receive subcontractor bids for the Creswell High School Seismic Retrofit project, as follows: PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Scope of this project consists of the seismic rehabilitation of the Creswell High School gymnasium. The rehabilitation will be accomplished by means of adding lateral force resisting elements where necessary, by ensuring a proper load path to the foundation element. In conjunction with the lateral system, the diaphragm and glulam beams will be strengthened and new vertical lateral force resisting elements will be constructed. Lighting, HVAC, and integrated ceilings are to be seismically braced and anchored to the structure. BID RECEIPT: Sealed bids will be received by the CM/GC until 2:00 p.m., local time, Thursday, February 29th, at the McKenzie Commercial office located at 3625 West First Avenue, Eugene, Oregon 97402. Bids shall be submitted on the Bid Form, and clearly marked with the project name "Creswell School District - Creswell High School Seismic Retrofit" as well as the name and number of the individual bid package(s) for which the bid is submitted. MANDATORY PREBID MEETINGS: An examination of Creswell School District - Creswell High School Seismic Retrofit site and conditions for interested bidders will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., local time, Wednesday, February 14th at the project site. Bidders shall meet with the CM/GC's representative at the front entrance to Creswell High School located at 33390 Niblock Lane, Creswell, OR.
