This requirement is for a new Crash Damaged Disabled Aircraft Recovery (CDDAR) Trailer. The trailer is in support of the 9RW CDDAR program ran by the 9 MXS. The trailer enables 9 MXS to provide aircraft recovery capabilities in the event that an airframe in Beale AFB's area of responsibility goes down. Please see specifications below:

•·         The trailer will need to be outfitted with aluminum shelving units capable of holding no less than 1200lbs. The shelves will run the length of the trailer on both the right and left sides. The width of the shelves will be no less than 28" and located between 18"-23" from the ceiling of the trailer. The shelves will be situated in such a way as to not cause a Center of Gravity (CG) issue in accordance with Federal and State regulations. We will also require a shelving/storage unit in the center of the trailer approx. 8.5'x8.5'. The top of the storage unit will require a wooden top to be used as a work bench/desk.

•·         Higher ground clearance than what we currently have for off road capability, which has been a hindrance in the past. There is currently a 13" ground clearance, we are requesting 22".  10 ply all terrain tires will be required as well.

•·           An onboard gasoline generator for lighting. Kilowatt per hour rating must be greater than the lighting and announcement system requirements.

•·         Exterior lighting: 10,000 lumen adjustable light bars, two on the left side, two on the right side, and two in the back.

•·          Public Announcement (PA) System: 100 watt or greater.

•·          Towing requirements: Fifth wheel towing, 30,000lbs capacity.

•·          Ramp door access requirements: Both on the rear and forward right side of the trailer. Both ramps must have a 2000lbs capacity.

•·          Dimension requirements: The trailer will be no less than 40 Feet long by 8.5 feet wide. When standing inside the trailer the height (floor to ceiling) will be no less than 121".

•·          Tie down requirements: All shelving will have tie down tracks running the length of the shelf.  Around all items not secured to the floor there will be tie down tracks.  (Item location still to be determined)

•·        Tool wall requirements: There will be a tool rack capable of supporting up to 300lbs total, with repositionable hooks to hold items such as sledge hammers, shovels, picks etc.

•·         Storage cabinet: The storage cabinets will be positioned along the forward left side of the trailer, with the dimensions of 85" long 28" in depth and 80" in height. Construction material will be aluminum. It will have three compartments with hinged doors.  One cabinet must have a coat rack for hanging of our garments.  One cabinet must have four shelves for individual smaller items. The last section of the cabinet must have three shelves for smaller items as well, however the lowest shelf must be a minimum of 36" from the floor.

•·         Flooring requirements: A non-slip, water-proof, epoxy coating.
