Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge (Refuge) announces a pre-solicitation to inform and gather feedback from interested parties regarding a potential marina concession opportunity.  Responses received as part of this pre-solicitation could potentially aid the Refuge with the development of a concession prospectus.  This pre-solicitation does not guarantee that the Refuge or the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) will either issue a prospectus or enter into a concession contract for any or all of the concession areas and amenities referenced in the attached Pre-Solicitation document.  A site visit will be offered for interested parties to inspect the premises (see below and "Site Visit" in the attached Pre-Solicitation document for specific details). 

The concession opportunity is for recreational areas on the Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge and includes an established marina and potential development of almost 200 acres surrounding the Crab Orchard Marina, on the 7,000-acre Crab Orchard Lake in southern Illinois.
