Notice of Intent to Sole Source: Subject to final approval, The Small Business Administration ,Office of Chief Financial Officer, Acquisition Division, intends to negotiate a sole-source procurement in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, to CQ Roll Call , 77 K St, NE 8th FL, Washington DC, 2002 for CQ Roll Call Reports up to 3 users on behalf of the Office of Inspector General. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION.
Nature and Description of Action: The OIG is in need of this service because they provide timely congressional information that can help the organization carry out its mission under the Inspector General act of 1978. Users will be able to monitor legislation more effectively and use the information to make time sensitive decision. A sole source is intended for this order; no other source is known or has been located to provide this service.

The Small Business Administration will consider all affirmative responses received no later than September 12 at 2:00 PM ET. Affirmative responses shall be accompanied by sufficient documentation to clearly show how it would be advantageous to the Government to switch providers for this requirement. A request for more information will not be considered an affirmative response. If no affirmative response is received that clearly demonstrates the ability to meet all the requirements and that is more advantageous to the Government, we intend to negotiate a sole-source award to the CQ Roll Call.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
