City of Lake Charles, Louisiana Central School Renovations CP 3124 1. The Work includes exterior cleaning of building, re-pointing existing masonry walls, painting of all window trim and exterior “non-masonry” materials and all exterior surfaces that have been previously painted including stairs, exterior doors, etc. Repair of all stucco work, and designated windows. Replacement of all gutters and downspouts including flashing at scuppers and repair of roofing at parapet walls, collector heads, and coping. 2. All work shown on drawings and included in Specifications Manual. 3. Contractor is to perform the Work in accordance with pertinent State, Local and National Codes as well as all requirements of OSHA, including the Hazard Communication Standard. 4. This building is a Historically significant structure and is on the National Registry of Historic Buildings, therefore the contractor shall at all times follow the Secretary of the Interior’s “Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties” which describe guidelines for preserving, rehabilitating, restoring and reconstructing of Historic Buildings.
