Project Scope The Maryland Environmental Service is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified Contractors to furnishing all materials and equipment and the performing of all labor to complete the Sediment Basin SB-A Expansion, Sediment Basin SB-B Construction and Conversion into Sediment Pond P-B, Sediment Basin SB-C, Sediment Trap ST-1 and Sediment Trap ST-2 Construction and SB-C, ST-1 and ST-2 Conversion into Sediment Pond P-C, Sediment Trap ST-3 Construction, Sediment Trap ST-4 Construction, Borrow Area Excavation Expansion, Respective Demolition, Abandonment of Spillway No. 1 intake structure and part of the discharge pipes, Construction of a Spillway No 1 Valve Vault, Construction of a North South Cross Dike, Construction of Storm Drains, Construction of drainage swales and respective outfalls, Construction of the Dredged Material Containment Facility 60+ Dike Raising and Expansion and all relative Erosion and Sediment Control Measures. All aforementioned work shall conform to these Technical Specifications, the Contract Drawings, the Special Provisions and as directed by The Service and as called for in these specifications by Article Reference to Maryland Department of Transportation, Maryland State Highway Administration (MSHA) Standard Specifications for Construction and Materials, dated July 2020 with all the latest addenda, which are sometimes abbreviated herein as “MSHA Standard Specifications.” The work shall be performed at 1000 Kembo Road, Baltimore, MD 21226, in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
