SECTION 00 11 13 Advertisement for Bids Sealed bids will be received until the hour of 2:00 P.M., local time, Thursday, June 2, 2022 at City Hall, Covington, Louisiana, 317 N. Jefferson Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 and online at www.centralbidding.com; for furnishing all labor, materials, supervision, etc., and performing all work necessary to complete the COVINGTON WATER AND SEWER RELOCATION, CCE Project No. 519-101, for the City of Covington, Louisiana. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud after 2:00 P.M. in the City Hall Executive Conference Room, City Hall, Covington, Louisiana. Any bids received after 2:00 P.M. will be returned unopened. The Contractor shall hold a Louisiana Contractor’s license in the Heavy and Highway, Street and Bridge Construction Classification. The work consists of water and sewer relocation along US190 from W. Front St. to LA437 and LA437 from US190 to E. 31st St. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2022. The meeting will be held at 2:00 p.m. at City of Covington, City Hall Executive Conference Room, Covington, Louisiana, 317 N. Jefferson Avenue, Covington, LA 70433.
