Sealed bids will be received until the hour of 2:00 P.M., local time, Thursday, August, 10, 2023 at City Hall, Covington, Louisiana, 317 N. Jefferson Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 and online at www.centralbidding.com; for furnishing all labor, materials, supervision, etc., and performing all work necessary to complete the Small Water Meter Replacements, Project No. CCE 123-100, for the City of Covington, Louisiana. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud after 2:00 P.M. City Hall Conference Room, 317 N. Jefferson Avenue, Covington, Louisiana 70433. Any bids received after 2:00 P.M. will be returned unopened. The Contractor shall hold a Louisiana state Contractor’s license in Telecommunications (Excluding Property Protection and Life Safety). The work consists of: Providing all labor and materials necessary to install Allegro (5G) AMI Water Meters and all associated work as directed by City of Covington. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held Thursday, July 27, 2023. The meeting will be held at 2:30 p.m. in the City Hall Conference Room at 317 N. Jefferson Avenue, Covington, LA 70433.
