Synopsis:

The 43^rd Logistics Readiness Squadron at Pope AFB, North Carolina, is in need of coveralls for 75 people. Each person requires five (5) coveralls: three (3) short sleeve and two (2) long sleeve.  New personnel will be issued the coveralls at contract price.  Outgoing personnel will return them to the vendor before leaving.  Coveralls will be picked up once a week for cleaning, and then returned within seven (7) calendar days.  Coveralls are to be repaired by the vendor under normal wear and tear as required.  Lost or destroyed coveralls due to negligence will be replaced at the cost of the responsible individual.  The information sought herein is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a request for quote (RFQ), request for proposal (RFP), and invitation for bid (IFB) or as an obligation or commitment on the part of the Government to acquire any product or service. There shall be no basis for claims against the government as a result of information submitted in response to the sources sought announcement. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this announcement or otherwise pay for any information submitted by respondents to this request. This notice is for market research purposes only and is not indicative of a full requirement. Should a full requirement arise, the full requirement will be detailed in the solicitation, if issued.

The specifications of the coveralls include:

1. Each coverall will need Name Tags

2. The Color/Style will be Navy Blue Twill -65/35
3. Material thickness cannot be less than 7.25 ounces per square yard

Sources Sought Instructions: A written response with detailed information is requested of those suppliers who can provide coveralls meeting the required specifications. Detailed information shall include the vendor's capability of providing the required goods and current commercial availability. Responses to this notice are due on or before 4:00 p.m. on Monday, August 25, 2008. Priority for consideration will be given to small businesses.
