The County of Mercer requests bids from qualified roofing contractors to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and insurance necessary to execute and complete roof repair work at various buildings throughout the County of Mercer. Contracts shall be awarded to two successful bidders (roofing contractors) in accordance with their all-inclusive straight time hourly rate. The lowest cost responsive and responsible bidders shall be awarded contracts and ranked No. 1 and No. 2. Subcontracting the roof work is not permitted. Respondents must be roofing contractors and shall have five years experience in the installation and repair of roofing systems. In the event that roof replacement is necessary and signed and sealed drawings are not required, replacement may be required and necessary. [email protected] . Bid Documents In accordance with the Governor’s directives, the County of Mercer offices are closed to the public, but still operational. The Mercer County Purchasing Department is maintaining Social Distancing; therefore, it is encouraged to mail in your bid/RFP responses in a timely manner via USPS, UPS and FedEx, etc. If they must be hand-delivered, potential bidders/respondents may drop them off at the lock box labeled Purchasing Department at the Main Entrance of the County’s Administration Building, 640 South Broad Street, Trenton, New Jersey 08650 between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:30 P.M. the lockbox will be check throughout the day. Bids/RFP responses must be in by 11:30 A.M. the day of the opening.
