CITY OF CORVALLIS CORVALLIS TRANSIT SYSTEM MAIN TE NANCE FACILITY PROJECT Bids due 2:30 pm, June 23, 2020 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed bids for the Corvallis Transit System Maintenance Facility Project, Project No. PW 2020-023-251026 will be received at the City of Corvallis, Public Works Department, 1245 NE 3rd Street, Corvallis, OR 97330, or by US Mail at PO Box 1083, Corvallis OR 97339, by Joye Fukuda, Staff Assistant, until 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read. The work consists of remodeling half of an existing 8,600 SF pre-engineered metal building, currently utilized as a large vehicle storage garage (Public Works Building 7), into a maintenance facility for the Corvallis Transit System vehicles. Additional compo nents of this project include the design of a Fire Sprinkler System for the entire building approved by the Building Department, instal lation of that System and an Electrical Engi neering Load-Flow Analysis of the building's existing and proposed Power System. The Engineering estimate is $475,000. The bidding documents for this project may be examined or obtained for no charge at the City of Corvallis Public Works Adminis tration Office, 1245 NE 3rd Street, Corvallis, OR 97330, or by downloading the document from http://www.publicpurchase.com. All who are known by the City to have received a complete set of the document will receive notification when additional items are posted. This is a public works contract subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the spread of COVID-19 the City will be practicing physical distancing and limit group size to 10 people. Additional meetings may be necessary if there are more than 10 people interested in attending. The wearing of masks will be required at this meeting.
