Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received for St. Tammany Parish Recreation District No. 14, 13505 Highway 1085, Covington, LA 70433, until 2:00 p.m. local time on MONDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2022 FOR: COQUILLE PARKS & RECREATION – BASEBALL, SOFTBALL & MIRACLE LEAGUE PARKING, ST. TAMMANY PARISH, LOUISIANA ANY PERSON REQUIRING SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS SHALL NOTIFY JOSEPH FURR DESIGN STUDIO, LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE, OF THE TYPE(S) OF ACCOMMODATION REQUIRED, NOT LESS THAN SEVEN (7) DAYS BEFORE THE BID OPENING. All bids shall be accompanied by bid security in an amount of five percent (5.0%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates. The form of this security shall be as stated in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bid Documents for this project. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond written as described in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bid Documents for this project. A PRE-BID CONFERENCE WIL BE HELD at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2022 in The Coquille Recreation Conference Room St. Tammany Parish Recreation District No. 14 13505 Highway 1085 Covington, LA 70433 All bidders are strongly requested to attend and participate in the pre-bid conference in order to receive specific information about site access and critical path scheduling that will be important in preparing bids. Each bidder shall have a Louisiana General Contractor’s License to bid on contracts for public projects in which the bid price exceeds $50,000.00 as required by the laws of the State of Louisiana. Each BIDDER shall show on the outside of the envelope containing his bid, his current General Contractor’s License number, or if applicable, a statement certifying that the bid enclosed does not exceed $50,000.00 for a public project, his name, and the name of the contract for which the bid is submitted. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after receipt of bids, except under the provisions of LA. R.S. 38:2214.
