This notice of intent is not a request for quotes and no solicitation is available. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL intends to award a sole source contract to Copyright Clearance Center, Inc., 222 Rosewood Dr Fl 10, Danvers MA 01923-4502 for the purchase of annual copyright licenses for Air University. Copyright Clearance Center, Inc. is the current copmany providing subscriptions to the SPAATZ Center under contract FA3300-15-P-0008. Copyright Clearance Center, Inc.  is the only known source that offers a single, comprehensive license that allows faculty, librarians, researchers, and staff to reuse copyrighted content for educational purposes, while respecting the intellectual property of others. The copyright license also affords users an efficient and economical approach to share content and collaborate freely while respecting copyright property of others, providing ease and convenience of a single, multi-use license. This is sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This will be a firm-fixed price contract for a base year and having two (2) option years. If there are any other businesses that can provide the specified services, they must respond to this notice before 09/02/2015 at 4:00pm Central Standard Time (CST). If no responses are received by the above referenced date/time a sole source contract will be awarded to the Copyright Clearance Center, Inc. Contract award is subject to the availability of funds.
