INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE
Annual Copyright Clearance License
The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL intends to award a sole source contract to Copyright Clearance Center (CCC), Inc., 222 Rosewood Dr. Danvers, MA 01923-4502 for the purchase of Annual Copyright Licenses. CCC is the only known source that offers a single comprehensive license that allows faculty, librarians, researchers and staff to reuse copyrighted content for educational purposes, while respecting the intellectual Annual Copyright License agreement. These licenses were designed with input from hundreds of academic professionals from more than 50 colleges and universities. No other contractor can provide the capabilities to deliver the copyright because CCC is the sole publisher making the copyrighted material available in bulk. If there are any other businesses that can meet this requirement, they must respond to this notice before 8 October 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time (C.D.T.). If no responses are received by the referenced date/time, a sole source contract will be awarded to Copyright Clearance Center (CCC), Inc. If your company is capable of meeting this requirement, provide a Capability statement demonstrating your capabilities to meet this requirement.
Description of the Requirement:

CLIN 0001: - An Annual Copyright License agreement is a single, comprehensive license that allows faculty, librarians, researchers, staff and students to reuse text-based copyrighted content for educational purposes, while respecting the intellectual property of others.
