The Naval Research Laboratory intends to award to GERSTEL Inc., on other than full and open competitive basis a contract for 1 each GERSTEL Cooled Injection System CIS 4+ OnLine for analyzing trace compounds in gases, system controls the following: Measuring cycle, Adsorption flow, Sample volume, Desorption temperature, Desorption flow, Desorption time, Desorption in split or splitless mode, Heating rate of desorption, Trapping temperature of CIS (+20 deg C), Transfer to column in split or splitless mode, **Installed in Valve Box Position** P/N: GER009403-090-02, 1 each LN2 Cooling option for CIS 3C/4C/6C with C506 controller P/N: GER015700-900-00, 1 each LN2 Dewar Adapter F-Gerstel ½” flare female to 3/8” male SS pipe thread P/N: GER GI 9999-02, includes installation. (Microsoft IE required). Additional specifications will appear in the RFQ. Sole source is based on equipment being proprietary to GERSTEL Inc. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
