The United States Contracting Command - Warren (ACC-WRN) intends to award a sole-source, three-year firm-fixed price (FFP) contract to Skurka Aerospace Inc. for continued restoration of the M242 Gun Drive Motor, NSN: 6105-01-443-8388, PN 12524409, to servicable condition code A, through a process of depot conversion and/or repair by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Skurka Aerospace Inc. This action will not be competed in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B) "Only One Responsible Source." This is a pre-solicitation notice, otherwise known as a synopsis (summary). This is a notice of intent, not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers.
