The Classic Center CCA (“CCA"), an Authority of the State of Georgia, in cooperation with the Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County (ACC), is soliciting proposals from firms specializing in Converged Network System (wired LAN & wireless LAN) equipment provision, professional installation, configuration, fine tuning, optional ongoing maintenance and related services for the Classic Center Arena which is in the early phases of construction. Proposals from firms further specializing in ongoing on-site efficient, economical and innovative management and maintenance of such systems are being invited as well. The CCA reserves the ability to determine full scope accordingly. The Project will be in Athens, Georgia near the University of Georgia in eastern downtown, and near the Hickory Street multi-modal transportation center. A RESTRICTION OF COMMUNICATION IS IN EFFECT FOR THIS SOLICITATION. From the time of advertisement of this solicitation until final award is made to a successful respondent from any subsequent procurement and such award is announced, interested firms must not communicate about this solicitation or envisioned scope with any staff or any official representatives of the CCA, ACC, or their consultants to the Project, except for submission of questions as instructed in the RFP.
