Description(s):
The General Services Administration is conducting a sources sought market survey in accordance with FAR, Part 10. This notice neither constitutes an Invitation for Bids (IFB) or a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. All businesses that are interested in possibly submitting a proposal if requested in the future may respond to this sources sought notice no later than the closing date of the announcement. If the responsible business has a GSA schedule please include the schedule number in their responses. The Washington Headquarters Services BRAC Program Office (WHS BPO) is looking for sources that can provide construction site security capabilities for the BRAC #133 construction project. These construction site security capabilities include the following:
1. The availability and experience level of Construction Surveillance Technicians (CST) with specialized knowledge in site preparation, construction, fit-out, and lockdown to ensure that no unauthorized equipment or devices are placed in, at, or near the BRAC #133 construction site. Security clearance required.
2. The availability and experience level of Cleared Guards (CG) to provide after-hours physical security for the construction site during abnormal work hour periods of this project (i.e., nights, weekends, and holidays). Security clearance required.
3. The availability and experience of level of Escorts to provide monitoring of uncleared workers in the interior of the buildings during construction. Must possess a working knowledge of the tasks being performed by the uncleared workers to ensure that no unauthorized equipment or devices are placed in, at, or near the BRAC #133 construction site.
4. The availability and experience level of Access Control Officers (ACO) to provide construction site access control to ensure only authorized personnel and/or vehicles are granted access inside of the construction security perimeter fence at designated construction site Entry Control Points (ECP).
5. The past performance of tasks of similar size and scope.
6. The ability to mobilize and surge prior to, and during, construction of the BRAC #133 project.
7. The ability to develop a comprehensive Construction Site Security Plan in accordance with all federal, state, and local statutes and guidance.
