The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Applied Biosystems, 850 Lincoln Centre Drive, Foster City, CA 94404, for continued maintenance on Applied Biosystems equipment: eight (8) 3130-16 Genetic Analyzers and one (1) 7900HT Sequence Detection System. The period of performance will be from date of award to last for one year, and will be paid quarterly in arrears. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
