The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Applied Biosystems, 850 Lincoln Centre Drive, Foster City, CA 94404 for continued maintenance coverage of one Genetic Analyzer, S/N 17214-011; and two 7500FAST DX Service, S/Ns 275011263 and 275030245, service to begin July 1, 2012 and to last no longer than one year. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued. Interested persons may use e-mail to identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement before the expiration date of the advertisement.
