The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Qiagen, 19300 Germantown Road, Germantown, MD 20874, for continued maintenance on a BioRobot Universal Platform close, A4000, cat. 9239672, and a ZLV BioRobot M48, 0511/0274, cat. 9237715. This requirement is expected to run for one year beginning 06/01/2012, and three additional option years are anticipated. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued. Interested persons may use e-mail to identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement before the expiration date of the advertisement.
