The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Qiagen, Inc., 19300 Germantown Road, Germantown, MD 20874 for continued maintenance on three Qiagen-made instruments, PyroMark Q96 ID S/N 9001672001059X0, PyroMark Q96 ID S/N 60-0231-002156, and PSQ HS S/N 60-0110-000138. Terms of the coverage are: onsite repair service, 40 hours/2 business days service/repair response time, one year maintenance/inspection agreement, onsite inspection/maintenance, cost coverage for repair parts included, cost coverage for labor included, cost coverage for travel included, loaner provision not included, transportation cost coverage not applicable. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
