The National Transit Institute (NTI) is seeking proposals from qualified individuals and firms to provide consulting services to support the development and delivery of training programs, seminars, and workshops on managing the environmental processes in the development and construction of public transit and multi-modal projects.
The goal of NTI’s training efforts in this area is to support the efficient and effective management of the environmental processes in the development and construction of transit and multi-modal projects by providing current information on federal requirements, identifying best practices, and facilitating the sharing of information and insight among industry practitioners.
Current offerings include introductory and advanced level seminars and on-line courses. The training opportunities are developed for transportation professionals from transit agencies, metropolitan planning organizations, and departments of transportation. Assignments would include the development of specific modules to be incorporated into various training options and/or the facilitation of courses, workshops, and seminars on a task order basis.
