The City of Grapevine is seeking a qualified Construction Management at Risk Firm. The firm must demonstrate that they have the resources, experience and qualifications necessary to provide services in connection with Construction Manager at Risk Services for Grapevine City Hall for Facility Improvements construction project located at 200 South Main Street, Grapevine, TX 76051. Scope of services include alterations to Grapevine City Hall downstairs lobby located 200 S Main Street. Interior Renovations will include new countertops and millwork with added safety glass to employee work areas and added rear store front vestibule. Demo and reconstruct wall location changes, with minor electrical and mechanical changes. This work will be done in an occupied facility. CMAR contractor needs to have ideas and suggestions on how to phase and be as efficient with duration of project. (Cost for phasing vs. all at once. Nights/ weekends etc.) All questions regarding the terms, conditions or specifications of this bid must be submitted by 10:00 a.m. on July 1, 2024, through the eBid system. PERFORMANCE BOND AND PAYMENT BONDS Performance and payment bonds must be submitted within 10 days after notice of award of contract. • The Texas Government Code mandates that a municipality contracting for public work in excess of $50,000 shall require its contractor to execute a payment bond. • A performance bond is required if the total contract price exceeds $100,000. Public bid openings are suspended at this time due to the Service Center closure at 501 Shady Brook Drive. All bid openings will be completed on schedule and witnessed by Purchasing staff to ensure all procurement statutes, policies and state laws are followed.
