The University of Nebraska Medical Center intends to procure a qualified contractor to provide pre-construction services and construction services as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) for the LTC Elevator Replacement project. The estimated construction cost for the CMR Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) is $3.4 million. (Add $1.4 million for elevator subcontractor). The total estimated construction budget including the GMP, in-house construction services, and the Owner’s contingency is $5.3 million. Please Note: There will not be a pre-submittal meeting held for this project. The proposed project is to include six (4) public elevator replacements within existing hoist ways. TK Elevator to provide elevator equipment basis of design. Scope will also include machine room cooling, venting, fire protection, fire alarm provisions, lighting, and power coordination with high rise code and coordination with the Elevator Supplier.
