Valley Water is seeking proposals from responsive, responsible and qualified firms to provide construction management services (CM Services) for Valley Water during construction of the Rinconada Water Treatment Plant (RWTP) Reliability Improvement Project Phases 3 – 6 (Project). The Project consists of the following: 1. Phase 3 - Clarifier Demolition; 2. Phase 4 – Ozone Generation Building, Chlorine Contact Basin, Liquid Oxygen (LOX) Facility, and Filters; 3. Phase 5 - Existing Filters Demolition, Fluoridation, Sodium Hypochlorite Facilities, Washwater Recovery Basin Demolition, and Demobilization; and 4. Phase 6 – Project Completion Project Objectives A. The objectives of the project include: 1. To improve overall plant reliability by increasing the plant capacity to 100 MGD; 2. To provide treatment process improvements that enable the plant to produce water that is in compliance with current and anticipated water quality regulations and is aesthetically pleasing; and 3. To implement the construction of a robust treatment train consisting of: (1) raw water ozonation, (2) conventional flocculation and sedimentation with plate settlers, (3) granular media filters, and (4) a post-filter chlorine contactor.
