Background:
TSA conducts preliminary background investigations of applicants and employees to ensure that they meet the established suitability and security standards. All TSA Federal and contracted personnel are subject to pre-investigative review and referral for suitability adjudication.

In order to execute a Federal fingerprint check and to create a digital photo for the official government identification badge, TSA is required to obtain both the fingerprints and digital photos of prospective federal candidates/contractors prior to employment.

All responses to this announcement should be submitted electronically via email to Venita Mathias, TSA Contracting Specialist at [email protected] no later than fifteen [15] business days from the close date of this Notice (not including the posting date). The latest receipt time stamp via e-mail being at the close of business [COB] on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 3:00 PM EST.
