Notice of Intent to Sole Source
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, hereby gives notice of their intent to award a contract to Consensus Economics, Inc., 53 Upper Brook Street, London, United Kingdom, on a sole source basis utilizing FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition, procedures in accordance with 41 USC 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has a need for the use of consensus forecast for global economic activity for stress testing and ongoing risk monitoring. The following services will be obtained: (1) Consensus Forecasts, (2) Asia Pacific Consensus Forecasts, (3) Latin American Consensus Forecasts and (4) Current Economics. A subscription to use the above data is owned by Consensus Economics, Inc.

This is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider responses from all responsible sources received within three days after date of publication of this notice. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly be able to provide the services outlined in this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
