DESCRIPTION: NSN 3040-01-454-1547 - "Connecting Link, Rigid" being bought in accordance with United Technologies Corporation (Cages 52661 or 77445; P/N 4082309-01), RBC Transport Dynamics (Cage 09455; P/N 179093) or New Hampshire Ball Bearing (Cage 15860; P/N LK4-4014). This is an Air Force Critical Safety Item (CSI). The required quantity is 1,750 each, to be shipped to Oklahoma City, OK (SW3211). FOB Origin and Inspection/Acceptance at Origin is required.

Based on Market Research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capabilities to satisfy the Governments requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.

This is an UNRESTRICTED solicitation and is not set-aside for small business. This solicitation will be available at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp on or about 09/29/2015. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. There are no technical drawings/bid sets available.

The required delivery for quantity of 1,750 each is 180 days. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the US by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars.

Notice: This solicitation contains DLAD Provision 52.215-9023 for Reverse Auction (RA). The Government reserves the right to activate this provision after timely offers have been received and evaluated.
