The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is seeking sources that are interested and capable of providing of disposal services of conex boxes, industrial equipment and scrap metal.  PHNSY & IMF requires a Contractor to provide a 40’ trailer truck to haul and dispose of conex boxes, industrial equipment and palletized scrap metal from building 66 and C Lot. In addition, provide one 40 cubic yard dumpster for unpalletized scrap metal disposal at C Lot. Dumpster shall be delivered (empty bins) and removed (full bins) from C Lot within 24 hours of notice.  The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools and material to haul and properly dispose of or recycle the material.  The Contractor shall have salvage rights to all materials hauled away.   PHNSY requires a Contractor to provide disposal services for one year and options for four additional years in accordance with the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement.

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 562211 for Hazardous Waste Treatment and Disposal. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is $41.5 m.  The Product Service Code is P999 – Salvage other.

This request for capability information does not constitute a request for quotation.  Any interested party that believes it can satisfy this requirement may submit a written capability statement to the primary point of contact. The government assumes no financial responsibility for any cost incurred. Telephonic responses are not allowed. To be evaluated for technical merit and capability, statements must be received by the stated deadline.

To be evaluated for technical merit and capability, statements must be received by the stated deadline.  In determining whether or not to compete this requirement, the Government has sole discretion.
