This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation, V8VO02E1T02000, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to procure the brand name Concordance Software and maintenance from LEXISNEXIS Group or an authorized reseller. Concordance Software and support maintenance is critically needed for the success of an ongoing project. The Concordance software is needed to support related computer needs and data storage for the overall success of a critical project. The purchases of Concordance Software and Maintenance are needed to assist investigators with an on-going investigation. Period of Performance is 12 months from date of award the performance site will be 1111 Constitution Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20224. This is a RFQ notice of intent to procure the brand name Concordance. The IRS is not requesting information from resellers of the brand name but manufacturers that can perform the brand name equivalent.
