FCDAS requires intrusion detection system (IDS) monitoring in accordance with requirements specified in Underwriters Laboratories UL2050 (National Industrial Security Systems for the Protection of Classified Materials") and The National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) (DoD 5220.22-M) published by the U.S. Department of Defense.
The period of performance is for a twelve months, August 1, 2019 -July 31, 2020 with an additional twelve month option pursuant to FAR 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract for a period August 1, 2020 - July 31, 2021
Coverage during these periods of performance includes full-service maintenance, (parts, labor and materials) as well as travel, transportation and lodging for technicians called for service.
Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation for offers. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data, including cost, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same product to Joel L. Perlroth, Contracting Officer at [email protected] by July 30, 2019 no later than 1pm EST. All capability statements received by the closing date of this notification of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This acquisition is being conducted under FAR Part 12 commercial procedures. There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement.
