In order to meet mission requirements and maintain system uniformity (form/fit/function) with systems already installed in the fleet, these units must be brand name and must not be substituted. The PTAPS, used by the Project Beartrap Fleet, requires this hardware set in order to maintain aircraft calibration, certifications, and perform missions.
