Summary: The Missouri National Guard Recruiting and Retention Battalion (RRB) has a need for 65 laptop computers as part of their lifecycle replacement program. RRB needs to use the Automated Recruiting Information Support System (ARISS) that is provided by National Guard Bureau (ARNG-HHR- System Branch).
Currently, the only known computers that are compatible with ARISS are the following: Dell laptops model 6540, 6530 and Dell printer model 2375. This would indicate that only a "Name Brand Acquisition" (DELL) is capable of meeting this need.

Request: This request is to identify other computers that are known to be compatible with Automated Recruiting Information Support System (ARISS) that is used the National Guard Bureau, Recruiting. Vendors that have laptop computers for sale on the Computer Hardware Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) are encouraged to respond to this request.

Purpose: The purpose of this request is to identify other sources capable of meeting this requirement in an effort to increase competition.

Authority: FAR 6.302-1(c). This is a sources sought in an effort to identify additional sources capable of meeting this requirement. Procedures outlined in DFARS PGI 206.302-1 are applicable to this acquisition.
