This Sources Sought Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational purposes to locate capable business concerns. The Air Force is conducting market research and desires input from industry to assist in requirements planning. The information requested by this synopsis will be used within the Air Force to facilitate the decision making process and will not be disclosed outside of the agency. Please note: The Air Force will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this RFI. Headquarters Air Mobility Command (AMC) is interested in the identification of capable sources to provide Troop Seat Kits, Rail Kits, and Cover Kits, for use on the M1097 2 man crew HMMWV. Below are the three components. The first two are required for the third (Cover Kit) to be used for covering the cargo area of the HMMWV. Components numbered ‘2.' And ‘3.' are the contents of an entire kit as NSN 2540-01-329-8073. Ability to provide this kit would suffice for capability to provide components ‘2.' and ‘3.'
